Highlighting City of Tokyo through Tokyo Sports Square during Tokyo 2020 Games
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) promotes the use of the Tokyo Sports Square as a base to highlight the attractions of the city of Tokyo and provide information during the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020. As a host city, the TMG provides timely information about the Tokyo 2020 Games and highlights the city of Tokyo to residents, visitors and media to enhance the excitement of the Games.
Tokyo Sports Square
1. Overview
1) Tokyo Games PR Section (1F Entrance Hall)
- Information about the Tokyo 2020 Games, the city of Tokyo and approaches taken by local governments in areas that suffered damage in the Great East Japan Earthquake and other disasters through exhibitions and videos.
- Daily live events with the participation of City Cast members to highlight the attractions of the city of Tokyo and other local sites.
- Tokyo 2020 Lost-and-Found Centre and Tokyo 2020 Official Licensed Product Shop
2) Tokyo Tokyo ALL JAPAN COLLECTION (1F Main Hall)
- Highlighting food, commerce and industry, tourism industry, agriculture, forestry and fishery in the city of Tokyo.
- PR for each region of Japan in cooperation with local governments nationwide.

3) Tokyo Media Center (TMC) (2F and 3F)
- Lounge and work space for media available as a base for their media coverage during the Games.
- A wide variety of online information and services to highlight the city of Tokyo to the world during the Games.

3. Location and access
Address: 3-8-1, Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo
- Yurakucho Station on the JR Yamanote Line and the Keihin-Tohoku Line. 1 minute walk from the “Kyobashi” exit.
- Yurakucho Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho line. Accessible from exit D9.
- Ginza-itchome Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line. 3-minute walk from exit 1.
*The building stands in front of the Toyo Kotsu Kaikan and has a red roof.
