Date Decided for RAINBOW BRIDGE RIDE 2026 and MULTISPORTS!

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is pleased to announce that we have decided the date to hold “RAINBOW BRIDGE RIDE 2026” and "MULTISPORTS." In RAINBOW BRIDGE RIDE, cyclists can ride across the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Gate Bridge, and in MULTISPORTS event, everybody can enjoy experiencing various sports including cycling.

(1) Date: Monday (National Holiday), November 23, 2026
(2) Location: Odaiba Seaside Park, Tokyo Umi no Mori Tunnel, Wakasu Seaside Park, etc.
(3) Course, etc.: Enjoy a special experience of the Rainbow Bridge, Tokyo Gate Bridge, etc. (Planned to be on same scale as last year)
MULTISPORTS venue will be the finish point for RAINBOW BRIDGE RIDE. 
(4) Other: Recruitment of RAINBOW BRIDGE RIDE participants is scheduled to start in around July.

* RAINBOW BRIDGE RIDE & MULTISPORTS is held in collaboration with Metropolitan Expressway Co., Ltd., Bicycle Utilization Promotion Headquarters, local governments, and other supporting organizations.

 

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has acquired the "UCI BIKE CITY LABEL" certified by the International Cycling Union (UCI). The "UCI BIKE CITY LABEL" is recognized by the UCI as a city or region that is pioneering bicycle initiatives, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is the first city in the East Asian region to receive the label. In cooperation with UCI and other certified cities, we will further promote sports projects that utilize bicycles and create an environment where everyone can use bicycles safely and comfortably.

 
In order to make eco-friendly and healthy bicycles even more accessible, we are comprehensively promoting various bicycle-related events as part of the “GRAND CYCLE TOKYO” project.
