Tokyo 2020 Archives Assets actually used in the Tokyo 2020 Games Opening Ceremonies will be exhibited in Yurakucho!

 

In order to convey the historical value and social significance of the Tokyo 2020 Games to future generations, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) will open a venue on the first floor of SusHi Tech Square in Yurakucho, Tokyo where everyone can see an exhibit of Tokyo 2020 Games assets and experience competitions.
In addition, approximately 1,000 archives assets and other physical assets managed by the TMG will be digitized and posted on the Tokyo 2020 Digital Archives website, and some of them will be available for 360 degree panoramic viewing.

1.Opening of TOKYO FORWARD TOKYO 2020 Legacy Exhibition

A venue to exhibit assets and experience competitions using the latest digital technology will be opened on the first floor of SusHi Tech Square.

On display will be assets that allow visitors to experience the legacy of the Tokyo 2020 Games by theme, such as the path from the bid to host the Games until their opening, the opening and closing ceremonies, and competitions. In addition, there will be an Olympic and Paralympic Games competition experience corner that anyone can enjoy using digital technology, as well as an interactive photo spot.
There are also plans to hold a talk event with athletes.

(5)Volunteer Recruitment

2.Expanding the Contents of the Tokyo 2020 Digital Archives

In conjunction with the opening of the Tokyo 2020 Legacy Exhibition, the contents of the digital archive will be expanded, and approximately 1,000 archives assets and other physical assets managed by the TMG will be posted on the Tokyo 2020 Digital Archives website.
In addition, we will introduce a 3D view for some assets that allows you to freely rotate and view them 360 degrees. It will be a great experience, since you will be able to take a closer look at assets such as the back of the podium, which is normally inaccessible, and the detailed design of medals.
