Thank You Tatsumi: Last new facility for Tokyo 2020 Games, “Tokyo Aquatics Centre” to reopen

- A closing ceremony of the Tokyo Tatsumi International Swimming Center will be held on Thursday March 30, 2023 in line with the closure of the facility at the end of this fiscal year.
- A reopening ceremony of the Tokyo Aquatics Centre will be held on Tuesday April 4, 2023.
- The pools will also be open to the public for free from Tuesday April 11 through Sunday April 16 to celebrate the reopening.
With the reopening of the Tokyo Aquatics Centre, all of the new permanent facilities constructed for the Tokyo 2020 Games are open.

2. Reopening Ceremony of Tokyo Aquatics Centre / Opening Ceremony of Japan Swimming Championships

Governor KOIKE, SUZUKI Daichi (Chairman of Japan Swimming Federation), KAWAI Junichi (Chairman of Japanese Para-swimming Federation), KITAJIMA Kosuke (Chairman of Tokyo Swimming Association), and others.
To commemorate the reopening of the Tokyo Aquatics Centre, events will be held free of charge for anyone from Tuesday April 11 through Sunday April 16, 2023.
The main pool and diving pool will be open until Friday April 14, 2023.
(Free use of pools and training room / Experience programs (swimming, training) / Facility tour etc.)
