Tokyo Aqua Symphony to Commence Operations

TOKYO, March 12, 2026 - Tokyo Metropolitan Government has commissioned “Tokyo Aqua Symphony,” a new landmark fountain at Odaiba Marine Park, part of a broader initiative to enhance the attractiveness of the Tokyo Waterfront City area (Daiba, Aomi, and Ariake) and further energize the district.

We are pleased to announce that operations of “Tokyo Aqua Symphony” will shortly commence.

■ Start of Operations: Saturday, March 28, 2026

• On the first day of operations, performances will be held only at 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM.
• On the opening day, certain areas within Odaiba Marine Park will be temporarily closed to visitors due to operational preparations and related work.

The name reflects the concept of harmony between Tokyo’s waterfront scenery and the fountain’s choreography, music, and lighting effects, which will combine to create a unified waterside spectacle.

Tokyo Metropolitan Government has been pursuing balanced urban development in the Tokyo Waterfront City area, integrating workplaces, residences, educational institutions, and leisure facilities.

This new landmark fountain has been installed at Odaiba Marine Park to further enhance the area’s attractiveness, to support its continued development, and to create additional vibrancy.

Tokyo Aqua Symphony will be one of the largest fountain complexes in the world, combining one reaching 150 meters in height with one 250 meters wide, its design inspired by Somei Yoshino, the cherry blossom that serves as the official flower of Tokyo.

Visitors can enjoy a dynamic fountain show set against iconic views of the Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Tower from a unique waterfront setting in the heart of the city.
