GRAND CYCLE TOKYO Run across the Rainbow Bridge!
Tokyo Sports Promotion Ambassador Yuriito
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) will promote a variety of events as GRAND CYCLE TOKYO in order to make bicycles even more common, which is both environmentally friendly and good for health.
To start, we will hold the bicycle ride event "Rainbow Ride" and the sports experience event "Multisports" on Wednesday November 23 2022 (national holiday) in the waterfront area.
We are pleased to announce that we will begin receiving applications for participants on Friday July 1.
1.GRAND CYCLE TOKYO
Under the unified title of "GRAND CYCLE TOKYO", we will comprehensively promote various bicycle-related events.

Rainbow Ride will take cyclists across the Rainbow Bridge and through the Sea Forest Tunnel!

- You may only apply for one section: enthusiasts, general public, locals, or VIP.
- A portion of the participation fee for VIPs will be used to support the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's bicycle policy and other efforts.
- This ride event is for enjoyment, not a competition for good rankings or times.
- The Rainbow Bridge Course has a long uphill climb of approximaPhoney 1.5 km with an average gradient of 5%.
- Traffic regulations will be enforced in the vicinity of courses on the day of the event (details to be announced in the future). We kindly ask for your cooperation.

Bicycle Wonderland
You can watch exciting races and demonstrations by top athletes.
There will also be opportunities to try wheelchair racers used in competitions, and various kinds of bicycles!
