Tokyo Metropolitan Government Announces the Additional Selection of “Certified Office Operators” for the “Project for Temporary Office Allocation for Foreign Financial Companies and Human Resources”
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG), as part of our plans to make Tokyo into the world’s leading financial city, has set out to attract overseas financial firms. As part of this plan, TMG has implemented the “Project for Temporary Office Allocation for Foreign Financial Companies and Human Resources,” (hereinafter referred to as “the project”) from November 2020.
The goal of the project is to assist foreign financial companies and human resources skilled in finance, mainly in Asia, in moving to Tokyo by providing them with office space for their temporary stays in Tokyo while they conduct preliminary surveys as a prerequisite for moving.
Regarding this project, from April 22, 2021, we have been recruiting additional office operators (hereinafter referred to as “certified office operators”) to offer space to foreign financial companies and human resources. We are pleased to announce that two additional operators (see below) have been selected and will start providing office space under this program. With the selection of these additional certified office operators and the operators selected last year, there will be eight companies in total.
