Visit to Yodobashi Market to Observe Efforts in Logistics DX
On July 7, Governor Koike visited the Yodobashi Market in Shinjuku Ward to observe initiatives related to digital transformation in logistics and other efforts.
The governor said, “Markets have traditionally been operated as labor-intensive systems. How to transition them to unmanned and automated operations, and, in doing so, how to secure energy are also common challenges many markets face. Today’s visit has shown us one example of how we should ensure robust technological development to solve these challenges. I hope these initiatives will present a good model for the future operation of the markets.
