The first stage of Waiting for EDOHAKU will open in Kinshicho!
Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) and the Tokyo Metropolitan Foundation for History and Culture will be launching Anywhere EDOHAKU, a free public event from the project “Waiting for EDOHAKU”. This event features exhibits and experiences from the Edo-Tokyo Museum, in Kinshicho from Friday, August 16 to Sunday, August 18.
While the Edo-Tokyo Museum (EDOHAKU) is currently undergoing major renovations, the Waiting for EDOHAKU project allows people to enjoy Edo-era culture while building anticipation and excitement for EDOHAKU’s renewal and reopening, so that everyone will be asking “when can we go again?”
The first stage is Anywhere EDOHAKU. Being held at Olinas Kinshicho for three days, visitors will be able to enjoy exhibits and experiences based around Edo’s many attractions.
Anywhere EDOHAKU will include content for children and adults, so the entire family can enjoy! We cordially invite you to come take a look at what EDOHAKU has to offer!
