Live Address by Governor Koike Yuriko on the Opening of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020
On Friday 23 July, the day of the opening ceremony of the Games of the XXXII Olympiad, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) will broadcast a live message from Governor KOIKE expressing her deep gratitude on behalf of the City of Tokyo to the nations of the world and the people of Japan for their support and cooperation during preparations for the Games, and Tokyo’s determination to ensure that the Games are successful.
