The Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 Torches will be exhibited in 62 municipalities in Tokyo!

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) will host a travelling exhibition of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 torches at the TMG office and 62 municipalities in Tokyo. Visit the exhibition venue nearest you for a wonderful opportunity to see these valuable items up close.

1. Exhibition Schedules and Venues:

From Monday 2 November 2020 to Saturday 3 July 2021

• The details of the exhibition schedules and venues are shown in the appendix(PDF:208KB).
• Changes in the schedule will be announced on the official website of the Bureau of Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 Preparation (https://www.2020games.metro.tokyo.lg.jp/eng/(External link)) and so forth.

2. Exhibits:

The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torch (1) and Paralympic Torch (1)

• Visitors will not be permitted to handle the torches.

3. Exhibition Schedule at the TMG Office:

Schedule: From Monday 2 November to Tuesday 10 November 2020
Venue: Olympics and Paralympics Flags Exhibition, 2nd Floor North, Tokyo Metropolitan Government No. 1 Building

• Open hours: From 9:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

4. Other

• Please note that infection control measures are being taken at each venue based on the TMG’s “Roadmap to Overcoming COVID-19 – to build a society where the ‘new normal’ is firmly established”. We would like to ask all visitors for their cooperation with measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure safety.
• The scheduled exhibition may be suspended in the future depending on the novel coronavirus situation.
