Celebrating 5 Years Since the Tokyo 2020 Games!
To mark this milestone, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is launching various initiatives that will allow people to reflect on the lasting legacies of the Games and ensure these are carried forward into the future.
A wide range of legacies from the Games embody not only physical aspects—such as the advancement of barrier-free access—but also social aspects, including the invaluable contributions of the volunteers who supported the Games. While passing down these legacies to the future, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government remains committed to building upon this foundation, aiming to help achieve an inclusive society and foster the further development of sports.
