Governor Koike Inspects Inside the West Exit Plaza of Shinjuku Station under Redevelopment
On July 10, 2025, Governor Koike inspected inside the West Exit Plaza of Shinjuku Station, now under major redevelopment.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is moving forward the development of public facilities such as pedestrian decks and a station-front plaza, to be in the district in close proximity to Shinjuku Station, through a land readjustment project led by the TMG.
The development project is to be carried out in coordination with the improvements of the station and the renewal of functions of the station buildings.
