Tokyo Metropolitan Government Signs Startup Support Memorandum of Understanding with Startup Island TAIWAN and National Innovation Agency, Thailand: Tokyo’s first international MoU with government-affiliated innovation promotion organizations
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is proud to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), one with Startup Island TAIWAN and another with the National Innovation Agency (NIA), Thailand, both of which have participated in SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024. These agreements aim to promote startup ecosystems and initiatives such as mutual collaborative support.
Based on TMG’s “Global Innovation with STARTUPS” strategy, Tokyo is taking a global view to promote metropolitan-based startups. This is to collaborate and connect through direct exchanges between overseas key players, working together with foreign startup ecosystems.

A public organization under the Kingdom of Thailand’s Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation. The agency strategically promotes innovation and the development of an effective national innovation ecosystem to support Thailand’s innovation industries.
