On June 10, Mr. Togawa Takashi, the President of the Junior Chamber International Tokyo (JCI Tokyo), and the Presidents of 11 major JCIs in the Asia-Pacific region paid a courtesy call to Governor Koike.

The governor said, “I would like to take this opportunity to once again express my gratitude for your various forms of cooperation with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, including your participation in the ‘Children’s Smile Movement.’

“I sincerely hope that the upcoming convention (2026 JCI ASPAC Niigata) will provide meaningful opportunities for various kinds of interaction and exchange of insights and opinions. I hope that all of you, young people, will continue making your efforts to make the world a peaceful and joyful place.”
