The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is pleased to announce it hosted the inaugural Tokyo-Southeast Asia Capitals Dialogue for Sustainability (TOKYO-SEADS), an event aimed at strengthening Tokyo’s links with the geographically close Southeast Asian region, known for its active cultural and economic exchanges with Tokyo. Facilitating the first-ever dialogue of its type, TOKYO-SEADS brought together leaders from Tokyo and the capital cities of Southeast Asian region to discuss under the theme of "Storm and Flood Countermeasures and Development of Urban Infrastructure." Participants shared initiatives, exchanged views, and issued a joint statement to promote the implementation of practical measures.
