Based on the "Memorandum of Understanding Between the City of London Corporation and Tokyo Metropolitan Government" regarding exchanges and cooperation signed by both parties on December 2017, Tokyo-London Financial Seminar 2021, co-sponsored by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the City of London Corporation, was held online on Friday, February 12.
The seminar featured opening remarks by the Lord Mayor and the Vice Governor of Tokyo, as well as a speech by Financial Services Agency of Japan, FinCity.Tokyo, Fintech Association of Japan and Investment Association, Pitch Presentation by Tokyo and UK firms, and closing remarks by Sir Roger Gifford, chairman of the Green Finance Initiative.
