F1 Demo: “Red Bull Showrun x Powered by Honda” Opening Ceremony

Governor Koike attended the opening ceremony of "Red Bull Showrun x Powered by Honda” on April 2, along with Her Imperial Highness Princess Yohko, who is the Chair of the Super Formula Championship Series. The public road demo run was held by the International TOP Motorsports Experience Executive Committee (ITOM) in the Tokyo Waterfront City Aomi area.

The governor commented, “I‘m grateful for this opportunity where everyone can enjoy terrific motorsports taking place on public roads in Tokyo. I hope motorsports and the automotive business will thrive even more in the future. Tokyo hosted the Formula E last year, and it was a great success. We are happy to have these machines running safely on Tokyo’s public roads and bring even more vibrancy to the Tokyo Bay area.”
