Skateboarding Experience Event for Tokyo residents to be held at Ariake Urban Sports Park (tentative name)
We are pleased to announce that a skateboarding experience event for Tokyo residents will be held on Saturday July 30 and Sunday July 31 2022 as part of the Tokyo 2020 Games One Year Anniversary Project.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is planning to develop the Ariake Urban Sports Park as an urban sports venue that utilizes the overlay and temporary structures used for the BMX and Skateboarding competitions during the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020.

Saturday July 30 and Sunday July 31 2022 (will be rescheduled in case of rain)
2.Location
Ariake Urban Sports Park (1-7-2, Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo)

3.Main Content (tentative)
- Level-specific experiences (Includes etiquette training. Lottery will be held if there are too many applicants for experience.)
- Demonstrations by famous skateboarders (Spectators are welcome. Lottery will be held if overcapacity.)
- Exhibition of the Tokyo 2020 Archives Assets, etc.
*We will separately announce how to apply to participate in the skateboarding experience event, etc.
4.Other
- Sufficient infection control measures will be taken at the experience event. We ask all participants to cooperate with infection prevention and safety measures.
- The experience event may be suspended depending on the current COVID-19 situation.
