Advisory Board Meeting on Creating Opportunities to Foster a Global Perspective (the 1st session)
On February 16, Governor Koike attended the “Advisory Board Meeting on Creating Opportunities to Foster a Global Perspective (the 1st session).”
Governor Koike said, “The issue of how to nurture internationally minded individuals who can exert their abilities fully on the global stage has become an urgent matter. And education is the most effective and long-term investment. To help children who will lead the next generation bloom their potential and play an active role globally in the future, I want to create opportunities for them to become familiar with Japanese culture and cultures around the world and cultivate a rich, international way of thinking. I would like to hear your opinions on what kinds of initiatives will be called for at each stage of their growth and development.”
