Signs Wide Collaboration Agreement with Toyota Alvark Tokyo
On November 27, Governor Koike attended the signing of the Wide Collaboration Agreement, establishing a comprehensive partnership with Toyota Alvark Tokyo Co., Ltd, a professional basketball team company. Joining the event were the company’s Representative Director and President Hayashi Kunihiko, Alvark Tokyo’s Top Team General Manager Ito Taishi, and player Zack Baranski.
Governor Koike remarked, "Your activities place great emphasis on health, growth, and environmental responsibility. I deeply appreciate your contributions to Tokyo's policies, from promoting sports through spectator events to supporting our HTT energy conservation campaign.”
She continued, “You are firmly rooted in the local community, and I’m grateful to have such a reliable partner in advancing resident-focused initiatives. This time, in addition to raising awareness about disaster prevention and mitigation, you have proposed revitalizing Tokyo Waterfront City, with the new arena as the starting point. By combining our strengths and wisdom, I look forward to building a bright future where everyone can thrive and shine."
