International Cooperation
In large cities of developing countries, water shortage and water pollution emerging with rapid economic growth and increase in population and most of those challenges are the ones that Tokyo Waterworks Bureau has faced and resolved in its long history.
Upon requests mainly from Asian cities, we have provided trainings in Japan and dispatched instructors. In recent years, we have also collaborated with private companies to work on technicalcooperation and infrastructure development to improve water situations in overseas cities while utilizing the official development assistance (ODA).
We will transmit to developing countries in Asia and other area about the practical techniques and business operation skills that have been cultivated through its own business operation, and contribute to improve water situations.
In the “Tokyo Waterworks International Cooperation,” we summarized in a comprehensive and systematic manner the international cooperation to be proceeded by us.
