Tokyo 2020 Games One Year Anniversary Project -TOKYO FORWARD- "Amazing Canoe Slalom Summer Festa" to be held!
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) is pleased to announce that the reopening event of the Canoe Slalom Centre will be held on Saturday July 23 2022 as part of the Tokyo 2020 Games One Year Anniversary Project.
We hope to see and welcome many participants in the event, which will provide an opportunity to experience water sports and leisure activities such as paddling parades, rafting tours, canoeing, and water playground equipment.

Saturday July 23 2022, 10:00 to 16:00 (Planned)

Canoe Slalom Centre (6-1-1, Rinkai-cho, Edogawa-ku, Tokyo)
[Access] Approx. 12-minute walk from Kasai-Rinkai Park Station on the JR Keiyo Line
3.Content (Planned)
1)Paddling Parade
Various boats from difference sports, including canoe slalom, which has become an Olympic sport, will dynamically descend water rapids.
2)Water Sports and Leisure Activities
Enjoy rafting, canoeing, water playground equipment, etc. (Capacity: approx. 300 people)
- The detailed schedule for water sports and leisure activities will be announced on the following facility website.
- Applications to participate will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from 9:00 on Friday July 1.
