Installing Transparent Displays with Multi-Language Display Functions at 38 Tokyo Metropolitan Government Facilities! Utilizing State-of-the-Art Technology Capable of Realizing Smooth Communication

Using the World Athletics Championships Tokyo 25 and the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics as opportunities, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is advancing approaches to the realization of an inclusive Tokyo, where everyone can enjoy interactions with anyone, anytime, and anywhere.
To promote the use of digital technology by an even greater number of people as well as people throughout society, we are planning to install transparent displays with multi-language display functions at 38 locations as follows.
Please experience smooth communication with and without disabilities and across language barriers with this display.

Installed at 38 facilities, including Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building General Information Desk(See the attachment (PDF:128KB) for details.)
3.Operation Hours
Same as the operating hours at each facility
4.Specifications of the Display
(1) The device can convert dialogue into 32 languages※ and display them in real time.
(2) Individuals with hearing impairments who have trouble speaking can also type on the attached tablet to display.
*Examples of corresponding languages:
English, Chinese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai, Russian, French, Italy, etc.
