Opening of TMG Building Observatories on New Year’s Day

 

TMG building observatories have opened early on New Year’s Day since 1995, but this year they will not open in the early morning for visitors to see the sunrise, but instead keep ordinary opening hours to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 disease. The details are as follows. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.

2 New Year’s Day opening hour details

Open to see the sunrise (South) - Previously FY 2020 (January 1, 2021)
Hours 5:30 – 7:30 Not open
Operation
  • Lottery to be implemented
  • 600 lottery winners can enter.

Scenes of the sunrise on New Year’s Day will be posted live on the Internet as a new effort for coexisting with the novel coronavirus.

General opening (South & North) Hours 7:30 – 17:30

* 8:30 – 18:30
            The open hours will be pushed back one hour to
cope with the congested hours (early evening).
