Governor Koike Attends Tourism & Hospitality Event Hosted by ACCJ
On October 8, Governor Koike attended a tourism and hospitality event hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) at JW Marriott Tokyo in Minato Ward.
Governor Koike stated, “Japan and the United States have been good friends for many years. The times are changing at an accelerating pace. Tokyo will turn this rare moment of change into an opportunity to step onto a new stage. In these rapidly changing times, we must lead in working to resolve various social issues, while we create a model for a sustainable society and further enhance Tokyo’s appeal as a city. I believe that precisely these efforts are the true omotenashi, Japanese hospitality, that we can offer the world. I hope that everyone will continue to look to our constantly evolving city, so that we can pass this world on to future generations with pride.”
