Crisis Management Conference 2023 (Tokyo)
The Crisis Management Conference 2023 was held in Tokyo from October 12 to 13, 2023, bringing together officials in charge of crisis management from cities across the world. Under the conference theme of “preparations for natural disasters taken by cities,” attendees introduced their cities’ crisis management measures and participated in discussions on three subthemes: “formulating plans for disaster preparedness,” “preparations for frequent earthquakes,” and “preparations for increasingly severe storm and flood damage.” Participating cities shared experiences, expertise, and information, and strengthened cooperation in making cities safer.
