Courtesy Call to the Governor by the Chairman of the Bicycling Popularization Association of Japan
On March 31, Koizumi Akio, Chairman of the Bicycling Popularization Association of Japan, paid a courtesy call to Governor Koike to report the completion of his nationwide traffic safety tour by bicycle.
The governor said to Mr. Koizumi, “Thank you for your hard work in promoting traffic safety awareness through your bicycling across the country, by putting your heart and soul into this publicity campaign. I believe the appeal of bicycles and the importance of traffic safety have been conveyed nationwide. We would like to promote bicycles, which are very environmentally friendly, as a vehicle for people to enjoy riding in safety.”
