Tokyo Senior Entrepreneur Community Contributions Awards
On January 22, Governor Koike attended the commendation ceremony for the Tokyo Senior Entrepreneur Community Contributions Awards held at the Tokyo Innovation Base.
At the ceremony, the governor remarked, “In this era of 100-year lifespans, we must build an active chōju (longevity) society where seniors can lead vibrant and fulfilling lives every day. Living with a sense of purpose, while remaining connected to the community and society, is vital.”
She added, “We will create opportunities for seniors to work in ways that reflect their experience and motivation. By highlighting the superb achievements of the businesses showing significant growth after start-up, we aim to present model cases that inspire and strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit among the senior generation.”
