2024 Tokyo Ambassadors Night
On Wednesday, January 24, Governor Koike hosted the 2024 Tokyo Ambassadors Night, an annual event held to facilitate interaction with embassies and representative offices in Tokyo, at SusHi Tech Square in Chiyoda-ku.
In her New Year’s greetings, the governor said: “Welcome to Tokyo Ambassadors Night! It is an honor to welcome so many of you again this year. In pursuing a sustainable future, we must push forward with initiatives across a wide range of areas, including climate action, disaster preparedness and response, and the creation of a high-quality urban environment surrounded by water and greenery. Under the keyword of ‘SusHi Tech Tokyo,’ the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will continue to generate sustainable new values. This spring, we will be holding SusHi Tech Tokyo 2024, an event where startups and city leaders from across the globe will gather and share concrete ideas for realizing a sustainable world. We hope you will join us for the event. Tonight, we have prepared for you sushi and other dishes featuring ingredients grown and produced in Tokyo. We also have locally brewed sake and shochu from Aogashima Island in Tokyo. Let us enjoy our time together tonight and deepen friendships.”
