The “TMG 2020 Action Plan” to Alleviate Traffic Congestion During the Tokyo 2020 Games
An updated plan for off-peak commuting for Tokyo Metropolitan Government staff
As part of the comprehensive plan to promote an environment in which all people work actively and contribute to society, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) has implemented the “Smooth Biz” initiative aimed at reducing transport congestion during the Tokyo 2020 Games through effective transportation demand management (TDM) as well as the promotion of telework and “Jisa Biz” (off-peak commuting and flextime).
We are happy to announce an update to the initiatives related to the off-peak commuting of TMG staff in the “TMG 2020 Action Plan" to reduce traffic congestion during the Tokyo 2020 Games. Please see below for details.
