Tokyo-London Green Finance Seminar 2025

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) and the City of London Corporation co-hosted the Tokyo-London Green Finance Seminar 2025, in partnership with the British Embassy Tokyo.
In the eighth edition of this seminar, we highlighted global trends in “transition finance”, financial mechanisms aimed at supporting companies actively addressing climate change through the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, as part of a long-term strategy for achieving a decarbonized society. In addition, the seminar shared the latest updates, advanced initiatives and key challenges in transition finance and green finance, and served as a valuable opportunity to explore the potential for future international and public-private collaboration.
