U.K. Secretary of State for Transport Visits the Governor
On Monday, September 26, Chris Grayling, the U.K. Secretary of State for Transport, met with Governor Koike. Mr. Grayling was in Japan to attend the G7 transport ministers’ meeting in Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture.
When the governor asked about which places he had enjoyed visiting in Tokyo, Mr. Grayling mentioned Akihabara Electric Town and Tokyo Sky Tree and said that Shinjuku seemed to be a very lively place.
