About the Roof Park Project
The Roof Park Project is an initiative by the Tokyo Expressway Co., Ltd. to transform the KK Line, a road exclusively for vehicles, into an exciting and enjoyable place for pedestrians, based on the concept of "Building the Future, Together and With Care."
The name "Roof Park Project" was chosen with the vision of the KK line acting as a "Roof" that connects different city districts and as a "Park" that is open to everyone. Leveraging the KK Line's unique structure, which runs above commercial facilities, the project aims to redevelop the space for people, not cars, while preserving the vibrancy of the existing urban environment.
