Overseas Advanced Human Resources Acquisition Support Project
We will support candidates with specialized skills find jobs in Tokyo!
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government provides opportunities for relevant candidates living overseas who have advanced expertise or engineering capabilities (advanced foreign human resources) to be connected to small and medium-sized companies in Tokyo and to actually experience work, with a view to eventual employment. We will receive applications from companies who want to recruit specialized foreign human resources for internships.
1.Outline of the Project
1 Promotion of attracting human resources
We set up opportunities to connect appropriate specialized candidates with companies to deepen mutual understanding and promote employment. (Four countries in Asia, approx. 15 companies per term of the program)

2 Advanced foreign human resources internship
We provide specialized candidates with a chance to experience work life in Tokyo to understand the appeal of small and medium-sized companies in Tokyo and heighten their motivation for working in Tokyo. For small and medium-sized companies, the program will encourage them to develop the company’s environment to hire specialized international human resources through the experience of hosting them as interns. (Approx. 20 people (companies) per year)
3 Consultation desks
We will set up overseas inquiry counters concerning employment in Tokyo for international specialized candidates who want to work in Tokyo. (10 countries)
4 Information provision by the website “Let’s Work in Tokyo.”
We are introducing good examples to use international human resources and actual examples of international human resources working in Tokyo to highlight the attraction of working in Tokyo.
