Creative Well-being Tokyo: International Conference on Open Access to Culture 2022
On Saturday, July 2, Governor Koike attended the Creative Well-being Tokyo: International Conference on Open Access to Culture 2022.
In her remarks, the governor said, “This is the first comprehensive international conference held in Asia with the aim to realize an inclusive society through the power of culture and the arts. We will build connections among all kinds of social activities and people of all backgrounds through culture, and widely promote the outcomes to the world from Tokyo. The world is currently facing numerous challenges, and international collaboration and cooperation are essential to overcome them. Taking the opportunity presented by this conference, we wish to overcome the various differences that exist between people such as generation, gender, and the presence or absence of a disability by using the universal language of the arts and culture. We shall, rather, value these differences.”
