Tokyo Ambassadors Night
On Wednesday, January 29, Governor Koike attended Tokyo Ambassadors Night, held by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government at Fuji Television Office Tower in Minato-ku. The event was held to introduce ambassadors and other members of the diplomatic corps and representative offices to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s policies, and to facilitate interaction with the Governor and her senior officials.
In her greetings, Governor Koike said, “This summer, the long-anticipated Olympic and Paralympic Games will be held here in Tokyo. We hope you take a moment to see the displays set up introducing various Tokyo Metropolitan Government policies being implemented with an eye to the Games and beyond. We also invite you to try your hand at Olympic and Paralympic sports at the various booths.”
