Invitations Open for the Tokyo-London Green Finance Seminar 2023

 

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government （TMG） is pleased to announce the upcoming Tokyo-London Green Finance Seminar 2023. This seminar is held jointly by the two cities in collaboration with the City of London and with the cooperation of the British Embassy in Japan. This will be the sixth seminar, which aims to expand the green finance market.
This year’s event, which may be viewed in-person in Tokyo or online, will connect Tokyo and London in real time. Following a keynote address from Lord Mayor of the City of London Nicholas Lyons, government officials and private sector financiers from Japan and the UK will introduce the latest trends and advanced initiatives in green finance, and discuss how the two countries can work together to develop the global green finance market. The event will conclude with an address from Governor Koike.
This seminar is part of Tokyo Sustainable Finance Week, a series of focused events related to sustainable finance. Everyone from finance professionals to students and residents with an interest in investment and the environment are welcome to attend.

Target Audience

Everyone is welcome, but this event will be of special interest to domestic and foreign finance professionals,relevant ministries and organizations, residents of Tokyo, etc.
