ICAP
International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP) is a forum to conduct technical discussions and exchange technical opinions for international deployment of cap and trade systems by nations and public institutions.
TMG, which introduced the greenhouse gas total reduction obligation and emissions trading system for the first time in Japan, participated in ICAP in May 2009. In the world, Tokyo is the only city government that participates in ICAP and is the first Asian participant.
We held ICAP Tokyo Conference in June 2010 and actively participated in the discussions about the creation of international carbon market.
