Governor Attends the Closing Ceremony of the 38th Tokyo International Film Festival
On November 5, Governor Koike attended the closing ceremony of the 38th Tokyo International Film Festival held at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya in Chiyoda Ward.
During the closing ceremony, Governor Koike said, “I am delighted that talents from around the world gather here in Tokyo, weaving new stories through the art of film. Film is a very powerful tool and art form that can transcend language and cultural barriers, connecting people’s hearts.
She then expressed her hope that the appeal of films transmitted from Tokyo will reach the hearts of many people, and that the Tokyo International Film Festival will continue to grow as a cultural festival full of creativity and diversity.
