Governor of Tokyo Cup Open Data Hackathon 2022
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is opening access to its data in an effort to encourage civic tech and private companies to create new services that improve the convenience of the citizens of Tokyo.
In order to accelerate such initiatives, we will hold the Governor of Tokyo Cup Open Data Hackathon 2022, the second edition following the last fiscal year, as follows.
In addition to the Governor of Tokyo Cup, two new categories of awards have been established this fiscal year, an Audience Award selected by votes of general viewers and a Jury Special Award. The latter award recognizes works that contribute to solving pressing administrative issues for TMG, by incorporating technology into, for example, electricity reduction measures, to save, create and store electricity (abbreviated as “HTT” in Japanese), as well as works that demonstrate technical capabilities and excellent design. App developer recruiting events will be also held.
