Bureau of Citizens and Cultural Affairs

The Bureau of Citizens and Cultural Affairs implements policy measures for every citizen of Tokyo to lead a fulfilling life in full autonomy and independence by demonstrating their abilities, and for them and the government to work together to build tomorrow’s Tokyo. 

Specifically, the Bureau supports a wide range of activities for Tokyo residents, such as promotion of arts and culture, civic activities, gender equity, private schools, and consumer life.
